North Suffolk Community Services Inc. is seeking a dedicated Relief Worker to provide essential support to individuals in our Substance Use Disorder Residential Programs.
The Relief Worker will be responsible for ensuring the health, safety, and well-being of residents, while also assisting with daily activities, implementing treatment plans, and providing medication administration and documentation.
Key Responsibilities:
- Ensure the health and safety of residents at all times.
- Assist with implementing and teaching individualized treatment plans.
- Administer and document medication as required.
- Approve weekly activity logs for assigned residents.
- Assist residents with benefits and budgeting.
- Participate in program upkeep and maintenance.
- Transport residents as needed.
Requirements:
- High School Diploma or GED required; Bachelor's degree in a related field preferred.
- Six months of experience working with individuals with substance use disorders.
- Mass Driver's License required; ability to become medication, SFA, and CPR certified within five months of hire.
