About the Role

We are seeking a compassionate and experienced Intellectual Disability Care Specialist to join our team at Heinzerling Community.

Job Summary

The successful candidate will play a key role in supporting individuals with severe or profound developmental disabilities in achieving their goals and maximizing their independence.

Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement individualized service plans for residents
  • Provide direct care and support to residents, including skill development and community engagement opportunities
  • Facilitate communication between residents, families, and healthcare professionals
  • Monitor and maintain accurate records of resident progress and services provided
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field from a four-year college or university
  • At least three years of experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities
  • Valid driver's license and auto insurance
  • CPR and First Aid certification
