We are seeking a detail-oriented and highly organized Financial Services Transition Expert to join our team at Motion Recruitment Partners LLC. This role will provide critical support to our portfolio managers, helping with tasks such as cash management, restriction changes, and performance reporting. You will also be responsible for developing strong relationships with various functions, including portfolio management, sales, operations, and trading.

The ideal candidate will have a minimum of two years of experience in the financial services industry, with strong technology skills and proficiency in Excel, Python, and SQL. You should be well-organized, with meticulous attention to detail, and able to prioritize responsibilities effectively in a fast-paced environment. Additionally, you will have a strong interest in global financial markets and excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to develop relationships with Financial Advisors, clients, sales teams, marketing teams, and other functions within the division.

Responsibilities:

  • Act as a resource to portfolio managers, assisting with requests to raise cash, add restrictions, change allocations, archive information, and generate performance reports.
  • Support activities related to the transition of accounts to Merrill Lynch investment platforms.
  • Develop strong professional relationships across functions such as portfolio management, sales, operations, and trading.
  • Monitor portfolio exception and compliance reports.
  • Research and resolve individual account discrepancies to ensure a consistent client experience and minimize investment and operational risk.
  • Handle incoming inquiries from advisors, provide a professional investment experience, and resolve account-related issues accurately and efficiently.
  • Maintain accurate and timely client files and notes to ensure all critical information is reflected.
  • Collaborate with Operations to ensure accounts are properly onboarded and billed, while confirming fee accuracy.
