About this Opportunity

  • This full-time position requires a Master's of Social Work (MSW) from an accredited program and a current Massachusetts Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker (LICSW) credential.
  • A strong background in working with people with SUD and their families is preferred, as is experience with case management, crisis intervention, and community resources.
  • The ideal candidate will possess excellent assessment and therapy skills, including motivational interviewing, cognitive-behavioral therapy, and other behaviorally oriented modalities.
  • Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills are essential for success in this role.

Duties and Responsibilities

  1. Collaborate closely with a multi-disciplinary team to develop and implement treatment plans for patients and families.
  2. Provide psychoeducation, motivational intervention, and cognitive behavioral therapy techniques for patients in an outpatient setting.
  3. Support patient and team in crisis stabilization and participate in safety assessments for families.
  4. In collaboration with resource specialists and RN care managers, provide case management for patients and connect them with appropriate community resources.
  5. Serve as a liaison to the MGH Child Protection Team and the Department of Children and Families (DCF) for the HOPE Clinic team.

Estimated Salary: $85,000 - $105,000 per year, depending on qualifications and experience.
