UCHealth (Colorado) is seeking a skilled Radiologic Technologist to join our team as a CT Specialist.
About the Role:
We are looking for a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual to work as a CT Technologist in our dynamic and fast-paced environment. As a CT Technologist, you will be responsible for operating computed tomography scanners to produce high-quality images for diagnostic purposes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate computed tomography scanners to produce high-quality images for diagnostic purposes.
- Prepare patients for CT scans, including positioning and instructing them on how to hold their breath.
- Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate diagnoses and effective patient care.
- Participate in ongoing education and training to stay up-to-date with the latest imaging technologies and techniques.
Requirements:
- Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technologist program.
- Registered as a Radiologic Technologist (RT) and registered, and or registry eligible with completion of registry in 12 months in computed tomography (CT) by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT). State licensure if required by law.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) Healthcare Provider.
- ARRT Computed Tomography (CT)
- Registered Radiologic Technologist
- BLS through the American Heart Association or the American Red Cross CPR for the Professional Rescuer with card in hand before start date. BLS or CPR card must be good through sixty days of hire.
- Background in X-ray or CT
- Strong desire to learn and adapt to new technologies and methodologies.
- Excellent communication skills and a team-oriented mindset.
