Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Registered Dietitian to join our team at Haywood Regional Medical Center. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will play a vital role in providing medical nutrition therapy and education to patients and staff.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assess patient nutritional needs and develop personalized care plans
  • Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive patient care
  • Develop and implement nutrition education programs for patients, staff, and the community
  • Conduct nutrition assessments and provide recommendations for menu planning and food services
Requirements
  • Registered Dietitian certification from the Commission on the Dietetic Registration (CDR)
  • High School Diploma or Equivalent required
  • Previous experience as a dietitian preferred
  • Critical thinking skills, decisive judgment, and ability to work with minimal supervision
