About the Position:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced individual to join our team as a Senior Assistant Corporate Secretary. This role will provide critical support to the Corporate Secretary's Office in managing the Authority and Canal Boards, the associated committees, and advisory boards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate meetings and ensure all necessary supplies are available">
  • Assist in preparing and distributing meeting materials">
  • Review and respond to requests made to Trustees">
  • Function as the gatekeeper for board electronic portal">
  • Prepare annual filings">
  • Able to observe confidentiality and discretion">
  • Excellent communication skills, including writing and proof reading skills">
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and work assignments from a variety of staff and volunteers">
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office programs, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint">

  • Bachelor's degree">
  • 4 years of relevant experience or Associate's Degree and 8 years of relevant experience">
  • Ability to travel a minimum of 5 times a year within NY State">

Estimated Salary:

The estimated salary for this position is between $74,340 and $92,930 per year, based on the successful candidate's relevant experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities.
