About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional to fill the position of Deputy Director at the Department of Justice. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for managing, monitoring, and evaluating the Asset Forfeiture Program.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement a strategic plan to support the accomplishment of AFMS mission goals.
  • Provide guidance and oversight on program planning and policy.
  • Manage human resource functions, including recruitment, training, and development.
  • Oversee the implementation of budget and operations for the organization.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant laws and regulations.
Requirements

To be considered for this position, you must have a minimum of one year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-14 grade level or pay band. This includes experience in managing mandatory funds, utilizing electronic databases, and overseeing contracts related to program management and IT infrastructure.
