Lead a Quality and Patient Safety Transformation

The Department of Veterans Affairs is seeking a highly skilled Lead Quality and Patient Safety Specialist to join our team in St. Louis, MO. As a key member of our leadership team, you will play a vital role in developing and implementing quality improvement projects that enhance patient care and safety.

About the Role

This exciting opportunity is designed for ambitious professionals who are passionate about system redesign and quality improvement. As a Chief Resident for Quality and Safety, you will work closely with our medical service team to identify areas for improvement and develop innovative solutions. Your primary responsibilities will include:

  • Designing and implementing quality improvement projects to enhance patient care and safety
  • Developing and leading education programs for resident physicians on patient safety and quality improvement
  • Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to identify and address quality gaps
About You

To be successful in this role, you will need to possess excellent organizational, teaching, and interpersonal skills. A strong background in internal medicine and experience in quality improvement projects is essential. You should be a driven and enthusiastic individual who is committed to delivering high-quality patient care and improving healthcare outcomes.
