Patient Service Representative

Job Summary
The Patient Service Representative is a vital member of the Palomar Health Medical Group team, responsible for providing exceptional patient care and administrative support in our Cardiology Department.
Key Responsibilities
* Greet and check in patients, ensuring a positive and professional experience
* Answer phones and respond to patient inquiries in a timely and courteous manner
* Maintain accurate patient records and ensure seamless communication between departments
* Schedule appointments, collect co-payments, and explain billing procedures to patients
Requirements
* High school diploma or equivalent required
* Minimum one year of experience in a customer service position, preferably in a medical setting
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
