**Job Summary:**

We are looking for a highly skilled and motivated Electrical Estimator Specialist to work with our team in Portland, Oregon. This full-time position offers a competitive salary of $52.94 per hour, along with a comprehensive benefits package that includes health care, retirement, paid time off, tuition assistance, and more.

**Key Responsibilities:**

  • Perform estimating functions by training as a Journeyman Estimator Apprentice or equivalent education and experience.
  • Develop intermediate knowledge of electrical theory and practice, and a detailed understanding of construction specifications, electrical codes, and rate and service policies.
  • Conduct field surveys, prepare right-of-way permits, crossing and conflict documents, expenditure requisitions, and related papers.
  • Assist in the preparation of district annual budgets as assigned.

**Requirements:**

  • A high school diploma, GED, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Completion of an Estimator apprenticeship program or equivalent education and experience.
  • Candidate must have a basic knowledge of electric theory and operations and a thorough knowledge of construction specifications, electrical codes, mapping systems, and line extension policies and tariffs.
  • Successfully pass the Estimator exam within 6 months from start date.
