Job Title: Territory Director - Financial

As a Territory Director at phData, you will play a strategic role in driving growth within the financial services sector by leveraging your industry relationships, consulting experience, and passion for data-driven solutions. This position is ideal for a professional who thrives on helping enterprises monetize data solutions, positioning phData as the brand leader in AI and ML solutions.

Responsibilities:
  • Accountable for the overall phData relationship at key accounts within your territory, as well as building and maintaining relationships with strategic partners within our ecosystem.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders in the financial services sector, acting as a trusted advisor to help clients leverage advanced data platforms and AI solutions.
  • Lead go-to-market strategies to expand phData's presence in the financial sector, building on our brand leadership in machine learning and AI.
  • Engage with customers through various channels, including events, direct outreach, and strategic meetings, to drive awareness and adoption of phData's solutions.
  • Collaborate with internal teams, including Sales Engineers, Solution Architects, and delivery experts, to ensure seamless implementation and customer success.
  • Manage sales forecasting, pipeline development, and deal progress, aiming to exceed quarterly and annual sales goals for data engineering, analytics, and managed services.
Qualifications:
  • 5+ years of experience in business development, sales, or consulting within the technology or financial services industry, with a focus on data platforms or enterprise software.
  • Proven ability to build and maintain strategic relationships with enterprise customers, with a strong network in the financial sector.
  • Passion for data-driven solutions, with an interest in how data platforms and AI can transform business operations and drive growth.
  • Experience collaborating with technology partners; familiarity with platforms such as Snowflake, Azure, and AWS is beneficial.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills, capable of engaging both technical and business audiences.
  • Ability to develop compelling proposals, negotiate contracts, and lead complex sales engagements.
  • Enthusiasm for working in a high-growth, dynamic environment, with a desire to learn, grow, and take on new challenges.
  • BA/BS degree or equivalent experience, preferably in Business, Technology, or a related field.
  • Willingness to travel up to 25%.
