About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity for a highly skilled Anesthesia Technician to join our team at Houston Methodist Clear Lake Hospital. As an Anesthesia Technician, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care and support to our anesthesia providers and interprofessional healthcare team.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist with anesthesia-related procedures, troubleshooting of anesthesia equipment, and set up, operation, and initiation of patient monitoring in all anesthetizing locations.
  • Familiarize yourself with all anesthetizing locations, anesthesia supplies, and related equipment ensuring that assigned locations and items are ready, available, and in good working conditions at all times.
  • Collaborate with members of the interprofessional healthcare team by actively communicating and reporting pertinent patient care information and data in a comprehensive manner.
  • Work effectively with others to make contributions to the work effort as a whole and participate in problem resolution.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you must possess the following skills and qualifications:

  • A minimum of one year of hospital experience or certification through the American Society of Anesthesia Technologists & Technicians (ASATT).
  • BLS - Basic Life Support (AHA) certification is required.
  • ASATT - Certified Anesthesia Tech certification is preferred.
