Job Overview

iSeatz is seeking a highly skilled Senior Software Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our mobile engineering team, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and delivering high-quality native iOS applications.

Our ideal candidate will have a strong background in iOS development, with a proven track record of shipping high-quality applications to the App Store. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to define, design, and bring innovative features to life.

We are looking for a motivated and experienced engineer who is passionate about delivering exceptional user experiences and is committed to staying up-to-date with the latest iOS trends and technologies.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design, develop, and maintain high-performance, reusable, and reliable Swift, SwiftUI, and Objective-C code.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and bring innovative features to life.
  • Ensure the best possible performance, quality, and responsiveness of the application.
  • Identify and fix bugs and performance bottlenecks.
  • Uphold and propagate best practices in mobile software design, ensuring rigorous code reviews and architectural evaluations.
  • Engage in architectural discussions and actively contribute to the technical decision-making process.
  • Mentor and guide junior developers, fostering a culture of innovation, quality, and growth.
  • Continuously research, evaluate, test, and implement new technologies to optimize application performance and development efficiency.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of the latest iOS trends, technologies, and best practices.
Requirements
  • Minimum 5 years professional iOS development experience.
  • Proven track record of shipping high-quality iOS applications to the App Store.
  • Proficient in Swift, SwiftUI, and Objective-C.
  • Experience with iOS frameworks such as UIKit.
  • Familiarity with RESTful APIs to connect applications to back-end services.
  • Knowledge of modern architectural patterns like MVVM, etc.
  • Understanding of Apple's design principles and Human Interface Guidelines.
  • Proficient understanding of code versioning tools such as Git.
  • Strong problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong attention to detail and a passion for quality.
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent combination of education and professional experience.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience in Reactive Programming (RxSwift/Combine).
  • Experience with iOS frameworks such as Core Animation, Core Data, Core Graphics, etc.
  • Experience with performance and memory tuning-using tools.
  • Familiarity with cloud message APIs and push notifications.
  • Familiarity with continuous integration (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI, Xcode Server).
  • Experience with travel domain a plus.
