**Job Summary:**

We are seeking an experienced RN Manager to oversee our Post-Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU) and Same Day Surgery (SDS) departments in a beautiful location in the Rocky Mountains of Colorado.

**Key Responsibilities:**

  • Supervise and manage all aspects of the PACU and SDS departments, including patient care, staff performance, and operational efficiency.
  • Develop and implement policies and procedures that contribute to the improvement of patient care and staff performance.
  • Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local regulations, as well as adherence to facility policies and procedures.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless and effective patient care.
  • Conduct regular staff meetings and provide ongoing feedback and coaching to improve performance and enhance patient care.
  • Participate in budget preparation and monitor departmental expenditures to ensure fiscal responsibility.
  • Facilitate the recruitment, hiring, training, and retention of competent nursing staff.
  • Maintain a safe and healthy work environment by establishing and enforcing standards, and complying with legal regulations.
  • Stay informed about advances in nursing management and patient care, and implement new strategies to improve our services.

**Requirements:**

  • Current and unrestricted Registered Nurse (RN) license.
  • Minimum of 3 years of nursing experience, with a focus on PACU and/or SDS.
  • Demonstrated leadership experience in a healthcare setting.
  • Excellent knowledge of nursing care methods and procedures, including PACU and SDS.
  • In-depth knowledge of hospital procedures, KPIs, and performance metrics.
  • Strong understanding of healthcare regulations and medical terminologies.
  • Exceptional leadership and management skills, with a demonstrated ability to lead a diverse team of healthcare professionals.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a patient-centric approach.
  • Strong organizational and problem-solving skills, with a demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
  • BLS/ACLS certification.
