Diesel Fleet Technician Lead Position

Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced Diesel Fleet Technician Lead to join our team. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for the troubleshooting, repair, and maintenance of our fleet road equipment, ensuring compliance with state and federal trucking regulations.
You will perform preventative maintenance, document repairs, and handle road service calls as needed. The role requires strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment, contributing to a culture of safety and excellence in service delivery.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- 3 years of commercial diesel mechanic or reefer experience, or 2 years of diesel mechanic experience with TK or refrigeration certification
- Able to read and understand technical and service manuals
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work effectively with coworkers and drivers
- Ability to manage multiple functions simultaneously in a fast-paced environment
- Knowledge of EPA and OSHA regulations, computer and software experience, and ability to work overtime when needed
