We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Licensed Practical Nurse to join our team at the Veterans Affairs, Veterans Health Administration. As a member of our healthcare team, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional care to our nation's veterans.

About the Role

This is a full-time position working Monday-Friday from 7:30 AM to 4:00 PM. The ideal candidate will have experience working in outpatient settings and ambulatory care, with a focus on cardiology. Responsibilities
  • Provide direct patient care, including administering medications, performing treatments, and documenting patient information.
  • Work collaboratively with the RN and MD/DO to develop and implement patient care plans.
  • Participate in educational programs and training sessions to enhance your knowledge and skills.
  • Contribute to a positive work environment by fostering constructive relationships with patients, families, and colleagues.
Requirements
  • A current and unrestricted license as a licensed practical or vocational nurse in the United States.
  • One year of experience in a hospital, outpatient clinic, nursing home, or other supervised medical setting.
  • Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks to meet deadlines.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with diverse groups.
