Job Overview

Howard University Hospital, a world-renowned institution in the Washington DC area, seeks an experienced Interventional Radiology Technologist to join its team of dedicated professionals.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Operate advanced imaging equipment and apply ionizing radiation to patients in accordance with standard procedures and departmental policies.
  • Perform diagnostic and therapeutic procedures, utilizing image-guided surgical techniques and sterile protocols.
  • Maintain radiation safety measures and adhere to the ALARA principle.
Requirements:
  • Graduate from an accredited radiologic technologist program.
  • Three years' experience as a Radiologic Technologist, including one year of recent experience in Interventional Radiology (IR).
  • ARRT certifications (e.g. CV, VI, CI) required.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
