Job Summary:

As a Wireline Field Operator with Noble Casing Inc, you will report directly to our experienced Wireline Engineer. Your primary responsibilities will include building and assembling gun and setting tool components at the well site with utmost care and precision.

  • You will work closely with your crew members and engineer on site to conduct wireline operations safely and efficiently.
  • Maintenance of equipment and tools in the field is also part of your duties.
  • Additionally, you will be responsible for observing your fellow crew members, communicating potential hazards, corrective actions, and safe work practices.

Requirements:

To excel in this role, you must possess excellent communication skills, both written and verbal. Ability to follow instructions and directions is crucial. You should also be able to work effectively as part of a team and understand the importance of teamwork.

  • A minimum of 1 year oilfield experience is preferred.
  • You should be physically capable of lifting heavy equipment and guns, shooting up to 14 stages per 24 hours.
  • Good standing with DISA (drug and alcohol testing program) is mandatory.
  • A Class A or B CDL with hazmat endorsement is required; if not already possessed, you will have 60 days to obtain one.
  • Clear driving record over the past 3-5 years and insurability are essential.
  • Must be in good standing with the ATF and pass a background check.
  • All Noble Casing Inc. and industry-specific training must be completed.
  • Stay up-to-date on all necessary training and re-certifications.
  • Proper Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) use is mandatory at all times.
  • Ability to work in extreme weather conditions is required.

Physical Demands:

  • Sedentary Work: Lifting of 20 pounds maximum with frequent lifting and/or carrying of objects weighing up to 10 pounds.
  • Light Duty: Lifting of 50 pounds maximum with frequent lifting and/or carrying of objects weighing up to 25 pounds.
  • Medium Duty: Lifting of 100 pounds maximum with frequent lifting and/or carrying of objects weighing up to 50 pounds or more.

Driver Criteria:

Requiring Driver Exclusions: One or more Type A Violations within a 60-month period, Two or more Type B Violations within a 36-month period, Three or more Type C Violations within a 36-month period, or One Type B and two Type C Violations within a 36-month period.

Type of Violations Defined:

  • Type A: Includes DWI, DUI, OUI, refusing a substance test, charges of reckless driving, manslaughter, hit & run, eluding police, any felony, drag racing, having or driving with a suspended license.
  • Type B: Includes all vehicle accidents regardless of fault.
  • Type C: Includes all moving violations not in Types A or B such as speeding, improper lane change, failure to yield, running stop lights or signs.
  • Type D: Includes non-moving violations such as illegal parking, equipment violations, obstructing traffic, failure to display registration or driver's license.

Compensation:

The hourly wage for this position is estimated to be between $20-$25. Please note that actual compensation may vary based on factors like location and qualifications.
