Academic Advisor

We are seeking a skilled Academic Advisor to join our team at Ladgov Corporation. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication and organizational skills, as well as the ability to work with diverse groups of people.

$68,000 - $80,000 per year, depending on experience.

The Academic Advisor will provide academic guidance and support to active-duty personnel pursuing higher education opportunities through voluntary off-duty programs. Key responsibilities include:

• Advising students on available programs, including degree options and credit transfer policies;
• Providing information and resources on Air Force tuition assistance, Veteran Administration education benefits, and federal financial assistance programs;
• Assisting students with course enrollment, transcript submission, and graduation confirmation processes;
• Developing and maintaining accurate records and reports related to student advising and outcomes;
• Collaborating with other departments to ensure seamless delivery of education services;

To be successful in this role, you will need:

• A baccalaureate degree from an accredited college or university;
• At least two years of experience in adult or military education academic advising;
• Strong knowledge of Air Force terminology, office procedures, and education programs;
• Familiarity with Outlook, Microsoft Office, and other relevant software applications.
