Zurich Insurance Company Ltd is seeking a highly skilled RCIS Crop Claims Field Adjuster I to join our team. As a key member of our Rural Community Insurance Services (RCIS) team, you will be responsible for investigating, evaluating, and concluding complex field inspections. Your expertise will ensure that claims are handled efficiently and effectively, while delivering exceptional customer service.
Key Responsibilities:- Investigate and evaluate complex field inspections to determine liability
- Analyze relevant facts and utilize applicable procedures to determine policy verification and coverage
- Participate in Risk Management Agency initiated reviews and referrals to ensure operations integrity and quality assurance
- Protect Zurich's reputation by maintaining confidentiality of claims information
- Stay current with industry trends and establish personal networks to maintain professional and technical knowledge
- High School Diploma or Equivalent and 6 or more months of experience in the agricultural area
- Crop Adjuster Proficiency Program Certification (CAPP) must be obtained within 180 days of hire
- Personal transportation and travel within territory
- RCIS Crop Adjuster Physical Requirements: walk in agricultural fields up to 3 miles, climb agricultural storage bins up to 25 feet, lift 25 lbs to 50 lbs, work outdoors in varying temperatures/weather conditions
- Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
- Strong organization and prioritization skills
- Intermediate Microsoft Office skills
