About the Role

Kessler Rehabilitation Center is seeking a skilled and compassionate Physical Therapist to join our dynamic team.

As a Physical Therapist at Kessler, you will play a crucial role in helping patients recover from injuries, surgeries, or other physical ailments.

Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to optimize patient outcomes.

You will work closely with patients to assess their needs, develop personalized treatment plans, and guide them through therapeutic exercises and techniques to restore mobility, alleviate pain, and improve overall function.

Document patient progress and ensure adherence to regulatory standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct comprehensive evaluations and develop individualized treatment plans.
  • Provide thorough education to patients and caregivers, and plan for discharge when medical necessity no longer indicates skilled therapeutic care.
  • Participate in departmental initiatives and demonstrate effective communication with all rehab team members.
  • Facilitate professional growth, development, and overall improvement of departmental performance.
  • Perform other professional duties associated with the care of the patient, development of discipline-specific therapy services, and design of program delivery.
Requirements
  • Valid New Jersey State Physical Therapy License/Registration REQUIRED to start.
  • Must be a graduate of an American Physical Therapy Association (APTA) accredited school of physical therapy.
  • Prior experience in outpatient orthopedics preferred; entry level/New Grad acceptable.
