About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate individual to join our team as a Healthcare Support Specialist at Oceanic Enterprises. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality support to our clients with disabilities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist clients in their daily lives, taking into account their personal wishes and preferences.
  • Accompany clients in various leisure activities to enable active participation and socialization.
  • Promote individual skills, especially communication abilities, to enhance their overall well-being.
  • Provide care and carry out medical orders as required, ensuring the highest level of care and attention.
  • Maintain contact with parents, relatives, legal guardians, and workplaces to ensure seamless communication and support.
  • Develop work goals and steps based on the HMBW procedure and document them using software to track progress.
  • Participate in a 3-year training program in a social care profession, leading to state recognition.
  • Previous practical experience in disability support is desirable, but not required.
  • Empathy and understanding are essential when dealing with physically and/or mentally disabled individuals.
  • Interest in current developments in disability education, including empowerment, inclusion, client-centered approach, and assistance, is highly valued.
  • Computer skills, ideally experience with computer-based documentation, are essential for this role.
