New Car Sales Consultant

Sell new or used vehicles at a profit to the dealership, ensuring customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities- Meet dealership sales goals.
- Greet customers and determine their desired vehicle make, type, and quality.
- Explain features and demonstrate vehicle operation in the showroom or on a demonstration drive.
- Suggest optional equipment for customers to purchase.
- Compute and quote sales prices, including tax, trade-in allowance, and discount.
- Complete paperwork accompanying vehicle sales, including preparing sales slips or sales contracts.
- Arrange for vehicle delivery and registration.
- Research vehicle availability and optional equipment.
- Engage in business development.
- Address customer concerns.
- Maintain CSI at or above Company standards.
- Maintain an organized, clean, and safe work area.
- Participate in required training.
- Record all hours worked accurately in the company timekeeping system.
- Follow Safeguards rules and regulations.
- Demonstrate the Company's Core Values.
- Comply with Company policies and procedures.
- Observe all Federal, State, Local, and Company safety rules and regulations in performing duties.
- Prior sales and/or customer service experience is desired.
- Valid Driver's License and Automobile Salesperson License are required.
- Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Office products and ability to learn web applications for customer management are necessary.
- Ability to understand and follow instructions, communicate effectively with customers and company personnel, and maintain a positive attitude are essential.
