As a member of our Wealth Management Team, you'll work closely with clients to understand their financial objectives and develop personalized investment strategies. You'll have the opportunity to leverage U.S. Bank's Asset Management Group and U.S. Bancorp Investments to deliver comprehensive investment management and insurance services.

To succeed in this role, you'll need a strong understanding of financial planning principles, including goals-based planning, asset allocation, and retirement planning. You'll also need excellent communication and relationship-building skills, as well as the ability to effectively present investment strategies to clients.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement personalized investment strategies for clients
  • Work closely with clients to understand their financial objectives and develop tailored investment solutions
  • Leverage U.S. Bank's Asset Management Group and U.S. Bancorp Investments to deliver comprehensive investment management and insurance services
  • Provide exceptional customer service and build strong relationships with clients
  • Stay up-to-date on industry trends and best practices in financial planning and investment management

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience
  • Three to five years of experience in a financial sales position, preferably working with the affluent client segment
  • FINRA Series 7, 63, 65 or 66 license, and applicable state insurance license

Preferred Skills:

  • Considerable knowledge in financial planning, including but not limited to goals-based planning, asset allocation, retirement planning, and education funding
  • Considerable knowledge of the securities industry, including U.S. Bancorp Investments, investment and insurance products and services
  • Extensive knowledge of private banking products and services, including credit processes and policies
  • Ability to effectively present investment strategies to clients and maintain a holistic approach to planning
  • Strong relationship management, sales and new business development skills
  • Well-developed analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills
  • Proficient with various computer software programs, including the ability to use recommended desktop planning tools and processes

This role receives an annual base salary between $65,000 and $65,500 depending on the required state minimum plus eligibility for incentives based on employee's production under the applicable incentive plan.
