We are seeking a skilled Palletizing Operator to join our team at Michael Foods Inc. in Lenox, Iowa. This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated individual to work in a fast-paced environment, operating automatic palletizing equipment to sort, transfer, and stack pre-cooked egg products.

About the Role

  • ">
  • As a Palletizing Operator, you will be responsible for monitoring and controlling the palletizing process, ensuring efficient production while maintaining product quality and safety.">
  • You will observe packages moving along the conveyor, identify defective packaging, and press console buttons to deflect packages to the accumulator or reject lines.">
  • You will turn selector switches to control stacking arrangements of packages on pallets and transfer loaded pallets to storage or delivery platforms.">
  • You will communicate with supervisors regarding issues and concerns related to operations, remove waste/shrink, and assist with general housekeeping as needed.">
  • You will supply loading equipment with empty pallets, stop equipment to clear jams, and adhere to safe work practices and guidelines.">
  • You will report any conditions or practices that may affect food safety, quality, or personnel safety to management.">
  • You will perform other duties as assigned by management.">

  • You must have effective communication skills, ability to work with minimal supervision, and read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos.">
  • You must be able to write simple correspondence, effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations, add, subtract two-digit numbers, and multiply and divide with 10s and 100s.">
  • You must apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form and deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.">
