Cyber Procurement Specialist

This is a DOD Cyber Excepted Service (CES) personnel system position located at the Network Enterprise Center in Joint Base Lewis-McChord, Washington. As a Cyber Procurement Specialist, you will be responsible for facilitating procurement actions for supplies, equipment, training, and emergency purchases to support the Government Purchase Card program.
Responsibilities- Reviewing and evaluating contractor progress reports and making recommendations for contracting actions involving the procurement, installation, and relocation of information systems
- Assisting with the preparation of contract documentation for proposed acquisitions and monitoring the execution of submitted and approved acquisitions
- Making purchases in accordance with the Agency's Government Purchase Card Program and preparing and maintaining adequate documentation to support purchases
To qualify for this position, you must meet one of the employment authority categories below. You will be asked to identify which category or categories you meet and provide documents that prove your eligibility.
- Specialized experience: One year of experience that demonstrates the possession of knowledge, skills, abilities, and competencies necessary for immediate success in the position, such as facilitating procurement actions and reviewing contractor progress reports
- Education: A Ph.D. or equivalent doctoral degree or 3 full years of progressively higher level graduate education leading to such a degree in a field that demonstrates the knowledge, skills, and abilities necessary to do the work of the position
- Combination of education and experience: A combination of education and experience may be used to qualify for this position as long as the computed percentage of the requirements is at least 100%
This is a Human Capital and Resource Management Career Field position. Multiple positions may be filled from this announcement. Salary includes applicable locality pay or Local Market Supplement. Payment of Permanent Change of Station (PCS) costs is not authorized.
Salary InformationThe estimated salary for this position is $86,000 - $120,000 per year, based on the location and title of the position.
