About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Nurse Practitioner to join our team at Temple University Hospital, specializing in Hematology. This is an excellent opportunity for a dedicated and compassionate professional to make a meaningful impact in patient care.

Job Summary

The successful candidate will be responsible for treating and evaluating patients with various conditions related to hematology. They will administer advanced nursing care, diagnose patients, prescribe medical therapeutics under the direction of licensed physicians, and contribute to a safe and therapeutic environment centered on patient needs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Treating and evaluating patients with hematology-related conditions
  • Administering advanced nursing care, including diagnosis and prescription of medical therapeutics
  • Collaborating with licensed physicians to provide high-quality patient care
  • Contributing to a safe and therapeutic environment that prioritizes patient needs and comfort
Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree in Nursing from an accredited school of nursing (Required)
  • Masters Degree in Nursing from an accredited Nursing program (Required)
  • 2 Years experience as a nurse practitioner (Preferred)
  • 1 Year experience in a clinical specialty practice (Preferred)
  • 1 year outpatient/ambulatory experience (Preferred)
  • Experience in an EPIC environment (Preferred)
Licenses and Certifications
  • CRNP - PA Cert Reg Nurse Practitioner (Required)
  • RN-LIC - PA Registered Nurse License (Required)
  • PRX-AUTH - Prescriptive Authority (Preferred)
  • BLS - Basic Life Support (Required)
Compensation and Benefits
