About the Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced Electrical Power Distribution Design Engineer to join our program teams. In this role, you will execute work orders for the design of power distribution infrastructure while meeting quality, time, and budget constraints.

You will be responsible for performing end-to-end Distribution and/or Make-Ready/Joint-use Design, applying established design guidelines, processes, and procedures. This position requires strong problem-solving skills, with opportunities to collaborate with team members and cross-functional groups to resolve design issues.

The successful candidate will also perform Permitting/Easement duties, researching pole ownership, right-of-way, property rights, and permit requirements. You will communicate effectively with outside parties to obtain right-of-way approvals and easements.

Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Minimum 1 year of demonstrated experience in power utility distribution design
  • CAD, MicroStation, or other related design program experience required
  • Knowledge of power distribution system construction and planning procedures
  • Ability to learn and operate customer-based proprietary software
Benefits

We offer a competitive salary range of $80,000 - $110,000 per year, commensurate with experience and education. Additionally, we provide:
