Highly Skilled Truck Body Welder

Morgan Truck Body LLC, a leading manufacturer of truck bodies in North America, is seeking a highly skilled welder to join our team. This role plays a critical part in ensuring the high-quality production of our products.
Job SummaryThe successful candidate will be responsible for operating a variety of welding equipment, including aluminum, steel, and galvanneal materials, while adhering to safety standards and industry regulations. Our ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in welding techniques and a passion for producing high-quality work.
Key Responsibilities- Operate multiple welding machines, working on various types of metal, such as aluminum, steel, and galvanneal.
- Adhere to strict quality control measures, ensuring that all welds meet or exceed industry standards.
- Collaborate with production teams to achieve production goals and objectives.
- Participate in training junior welders and provide guidance on best practices and safety procedures.
- Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in welding, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
- Proficiency in multiple welding processes, including MIG, TIG, and ARC.
- Excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and troubleshoot issues efficiently.
- Prior experience working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
- Familiarity with lean manufacturing principles and methodologies.
- Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a team-based environment.
This role operates in a manufacturing plant environment, with frequent standing, walking, and use of hands to finger, handle, or feel. The ideal candidate will have the physical stamina to perform repetitive tasks and lift up to 35 pounds, as well as the ability to climb ladders and work at heights.
