Key Responsibilities
Perform specialized and complex diagnostic procedures
Prepare reagents and maintain inventory of laboratory section supplies
Interpret and correlate clinical test results with patient history, diagnosis, and clinical condition
Communicate stat and critical lab results
Perform quality control, routine, and advanced maintenance, and instrument troubleshooting
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Medical Technology or related science recognized by NYS department of education
NYS licensure as a Clinical Laboratory Technologist
Certification by American Society for Clinical Pathology (ASCP) preferred
Ability to work independently and on a team
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
