**Job Description**

The successful candidate will provide daily martial arts instruction to students between 4 and 18 years old with different ability levels. They will demonstrate techniques, explain principles, observe student performance, and provide feedback on progress.

This role involves group supervision of students, focusing on behavior, health, safety, security, and personal development. The instructor must ensure student and team member safety, teach safe training habits, and enforce martial arts rules and regulations.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement daily lesson plans in a fun and creative manner
• Use effective classroom management skills to lead activities and create an inclusive environment
• Collaborate with fellow Activity Specialists and work effectively with others in all levels of the organization
• Foster a positive attitude and commitment to youth growth and development
• Produce consistent, high-quality work and commit to the growth of the organization

Requirements:**

• A minimum of 2 years of experience working with children (academic/athletic tutoring, camp counselor, or youth volunteer)
• Martial Arts teaching experience (1-5 years minimum) required
• Teaching certification preferred but not required
• Bachelor's degree preferred but not required

Estimated Salary: $45,000 - $55,000 per year**
