**Job Overview**

Baptist Hospitals of Southeast Texas is seeking a skilled Nurse to join our team as a Perioperative Circulator RN. This role is responsible for providing high-quality nursing care to patients in the perioperative setting.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collect and analyze patient health data to determine nursing diagnosis and expected outcomes.
  • Develop and implement individualized plans of care to attain expected outcomes.
  • Provide assistance with patient preparation, including positioning, prepping, and administering pre-operative medication.
  • Demonstrate competency in handling and documenting specimens.
  • Implement operational standards that promote patient rights and maintain confidentiality of patient information.
  • Assist staff in setting up and tearing down supplies and equipment in the operating room.

Requirements:

  • Graduate of an accredited nursing program.
  • 1-3 years related experience.
  • Current RN license in the state of Texas.
  • BLS certification.
