Job Title: Conveyor Belting Supervisor

Baldwin Supply Company is seeking an experienced Conveyor Belting Supervisor to join our team in Hibbing, Minnesota.

The successful candidate will be responsible for supervising and mentoring junior technicians, providing exceptional service to customers, and ensuring the safe and efficient installation, maintenance, and repair of conveyor belting systems.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise and mentor junior technicians to ensure they have the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their duties.
  • Provide exceptional service to customers, ensuring their needs are met and exceeded.
  • Ensure the safe and efficient installation, maintenance, and repair of conveyor belting systems.
  • Operate equipment in the shop to complete work orders.
  • Communicate internally and externally about the status of all jobs.
  • Work well with others on the team.
  • Adhere to safety policies and procedures.
  • Uphold Baldwin Company values.

Requirements:

  • 5+ years of conveyor belting experience, with some supervisory experience.
  • Leadership acumen and the ability to mentor junior technicians.
  • Skilled with hand and power tools and have a mechanical aptitude.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Possess a professional demeanor.
  • Ability to build relationships and work well with others.
  • Must have a valid Driver's License.
  • Must have basic math skills.
  • Ability to regularly lift up to 75 pounds.
  • Ability to work an on-call rotation for nights and weekends.
  • Ability to travel to customer sites and work off-site.
  • Ability to work outdoors, as needed.
  • Must be willing to join union and pay union dues.
  • Must be able to successfully complete a criminal background check and drug test.
