Clean Harbors is a leading provider of environmental, energy and industrial services throughout the United States, Canada, Mexico and Puerto Rico. As a Class B CDL Driver, you will be operating light and heavy-duty trucks for hazardous waste clean-up services at customer sites.

Job Description

The successful candidate will ensure health and safety compliance, load and unload trucks, maintain logs, and assist with emergency response when needed. This role is integral to our commitment to sustainability and environmental safety while providing opportunities for career growth and development.

  • Operate commercial trucks and assist field laborers when needed in a team atmosphere
  • Properly placard vehicles to meet Company and DOT requirements/regulations
  • Maintain daily logs, time sheets, and various reports

This role requires the ability to use various mobile devices and perform physical functions per job requirements. The successful candidate must also have a valid Class B CDL and obtain Hazmat and Tanker endorsement within 90 days of employment.

We offer a competitive salary range of $26.00-$28.00 per hour, comprehensive health benefits coverage after 30 days of full-time employment, including 401K with Company match. You will also have the opportunity to own part of the company with our Employee Stock Purchase Plan.

Key Responsibilities
  • Ensure Health and Safety is the number one priority by complying with all safe work practices, policies, and processes
  • Safely operate vehicles in accordance with U.S. DOT, local, state (provincial) and federal requirements
  • Perform other duties as assigned, including site-remediation, equipment decontamination, and the handling of hazardous materials
