Job Summary

We are seeking a Production Manager to oversee employee training, set departmental production and performance goals, organize work, and maintain a productive and motivational climate.

The successful candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in engineering, operations management, or a related discipline and 5+ years of experience in the Chemical Manufacturing Industry.

The ideal candidate will have Lean Six Sigma Certification and be able to develop and support the strategic business unit strategies for Operations.

The Production Manager will be responsible for ensuring the safe and environmentally sound operation of all production processes through the supervisors and operators.

The successful candidate will also be responsible for mentoring professional growth and development of employees in the Production Department.

The Production Manager will serve as a senior member of the plant staff in the development and implementation of plant policies and procedures.

The ideal candidate will have excellent communication and leadership skills and be able to work effectively in a team environment.
