Job Opportunity

We are seeking a skilled Framing Carpenter to join our team at DC Builders. As a key member of our crew, you will work on a variety of projects, including custom homes, event venues, and commercial buildings.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the design and construction of heavy timber structures
  • Install custom framing, exposed post and beam systems, and other unique building features
  • Collaborate with our experienced team to ensure high-quality results
  • Travel to project sites across the country, with transportation and lodging provided

Requirements:

  • 2+ years of experience in carpentry, with a focus on custom framing and heavy timber construction
  • Basic framing knowledge and skills, with experience in exposed post and beam installation a plus
  • Attention to detail and commitment to quality
  • Ability to lift 50 pounds repeatedly and work in a fast-paced environment
  • Good communication and teamwork skills
