Job Summary
We are seeking highly motivated and compassionate Graduate Nurses to join our team at Forbes Hospital, a 315-bed Level II trauma hospital located in Monroeville. As a Graduate Nurse, you will have the opportunity to work in a variety of settings, including trauma, neurosurgery, cardiothoracic surgery, interventional cardiology, obstetrics, and psychiatry.
Responsibilities
- Provide direct nursing care to patients in accordance with established policies and procedures.
- Initiate interdisciplinary plans of care based on assessment findings and physician orders.
- Complete patient documentation in a comprehensive manner and promote communication between caregivers.
- Contribute to Division, Hospital, and Department goals.
- Provide detailed and appropriate teaching to patients and families to effectively guide them through the episode of care.
- Collaborate and support the development of students, new staff, and colleagues.
Qualifications
- Temporary Practice Permit
- CPR – American Heart Association
- Act 34 Criminal Background Clearance Certificate
- Act 33 Child Abuse Clearance Certificate
- Act 73 FBI Fingerprinting Criminal Background Clearance Certificate
