Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to join our team. This role involves delivering high-quality patient care through the nursing process of assessment, planning, intervention, implementation, and evaluation.

Responsibilities:

  1. Provide Patient Care: Coordinate and provide high-quality patient care in a caring and compassionate manner, utilizing the nursing process and unit/department specific standards of practice.
  2. Assess Patient Needs: Accurately collect patient information needed to provide safe, high-quality care. Complete holistic ongoing assessments of patient's status and respond appropriately.
  3. Develop Care Plans: Develop, implement, and continually reassess patient's individualized plan of care.
  4. Nursing Actions: Determine and complete appropriate nursing actions to meet care goals; including the physical, psychological, social, and rehabilitative needs of the patient.
  5. Education and Discharge Planning: Teach patient/family and/or significant others appropriate health information in a timely manner and shares written informational material. Continual evaluation of discharge plan for appropriateness, educational needs, and changes as needed.
  6. Documentation: Document care provided, assessments, plan of care, interventions, and responses accurately in the patient's medical record.
  7. Emergency Situations: Demonstrate ability to handle emergency situations in a prompt, precise, and professional manner.
  8. Quality Improvement: Actively maintain current knowledge base of workflows, processes, and evidence-based procedures. Participate in performance evaluation/improvement processes with Department Leadership.
  9. Collaboration and Communication: Communicate and collaborate with members of the healthcare team, including physicians, patients, and families, to facilitate effective patient care and treatment.
  10. Work Environment: Maintain a clean and safe environment for patients and staff according to hospital and unit/department policies.
  11. Qualifications
  • RN Current licensure in the state of Washington (RCW 18.88) or licensure through Multistate Nurse Licensure Compact (SSB 5499).
  • Required to maintain active Basic Life Support (CPR) certification.
  • Must possess basic computer skills related to Windows navigation, mouse usage, keyboarding, email communication, and password management.

Estimated Salary: $85,000 - $115,000 per year
