Job Title: Commercial Interior Painter

At Norrell Construction Management, Inc., we are seeking a skilled Commercial Interior Painter to join our team. As a Commercial Interior Painter, you will be responsible for painting various commercial structures, including office buildings, retail establishments, warehouses, and more.

Job Summary

The Commercial Interior Painter is a skilled professional responsible for preparing surfaces, applying paint, and ensuring that the finished product meets the client's expectations and industry standards. This includes inspecting surfaces, applying coats of paint, varnish, stain, enamel, or lacquer to protect interior or exterior surfaces, trimmings, and fixtures of buildings and other structures.

Responsibilities
  • Prepare surfaces for painting, including sanding, scraping, and cleaning.
  • Apply paint, varnish, stain, enamel, or lacquer to protect interior or exterior surfaces, trimmings, and fixtures of buildings and other structures.
  • Inspect surfaces to ensure a smooth and even finish.
  • Work safely and efficiently to meet deadlines and client expectations.
  • Collaborate with other team members to ensure a high-quality finish.
Requirements
  • 2-5 years of experience as a Commercial Painter.
  • High School Diploma or Equivalent.
  • Valid Driver's License.
  • Ability to work at heights, climb ladders and stairways, and work off platforms/scaffolding using appropriate fall protection requirements.
  • Ability to work in all weather conditions (including heat, rain, cold, and wind) while wearing appropriate PPE.

  • Experience in prep, prime, topcoat (brush, roller, and spray gun).
