About the Role

This exciting opportunity at Gallagher Benefit Services involves being part of our team as a Benefits Administrator Professional. Your primary responsibilities will include assisting in the strategic design and management of health and wellbeing benefit programs, working closely with clients to provide exceptional service, and contributing to special projects as instructed by your manager.

Salary and Benefits

The estimated annual salary for this position ranges from $60,000 to $80,000, depending on qualifications and location. Job Description

Your key responsibilities as a Benefits Administrator Professional will involve:

  • Assisting in the preparation and analysis of vendor RFPs for medical, dental, vision, COBRA, FSA, HSA, and wellbeing programs.
  • Collaborating with the actuarial and financial team to develop benefit plan benchmarking, design, cost savings, and funding strategies.
  • Managing vendor relationships, including participation in meetings, renewal negotiations, and resolution of performance issues.
  • Providing exceptional client service in response to day-to-day inquiries.
  • Preparing for client meetings, including agenda development and coordination of resources.
  • Attending client meetings with consultants, as required.
Required Skills and Qualifications

To succeed in this role, you should possess:

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong organizational/time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Outlook, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
  • Able to work collaboratively as part of a team and independently complete tasks in a timely manner.
  • Able to ask insightful questions, follow directions, and be detail-oriented, organized, and resourceful.
  • Produce high-quality work and consistently demonstrate value to the client team.

A life and health license or commitment to achieving it within six months of start date is also beneficial.
