About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Surgical Tech I-PRMC to join our team at Presbyterian Healthcare Services. As a Surgical Tech, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of our Operating Rooms, providing support to surgeons and other medical staff during surgical procedures.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare and provide instruments and equipment for surgical procedures
  • Assist surgeons and other medical staff during surgeries
  • Facilitate a safe and effective operating room environment
  • Follow infection control and quality assurance policies and procedures
  • Decontaminate, disinfect, and sterilize surgical instruments and equipment
  • Inventory and restock surgical supplies and equipment
Requirements
  • High School Diploma or equivalent required
  • Current BLS certification required
  • Short-term training in an operating room setting preferred
  • Previous experience with handling sterile supplies and instruments preferred
