Red Rocks Community College is committed to providing exceptional education and training in the field of Fire Science. We are seeking a highly qualified individual to join our team as a Fire Science Educator - Emergency Response and Prevention Specialist.

About the Role

This full-time position will be responsible for teaching day, evening, and weekend courses in Fire Science, as well as developing and implementing curriculum to meet the needs of our students. The successful candidate will have a strong background in fire science, emergency management, and instruction, with the ability to effectively communicate complex concepts to students from diverse backgrounds.

Required Skills and Qualifications
  • A minimum of an Associate's degree in Fire Science or a related field
  • Experience in fire service, emergency management, or a related field
  • Strong instructional skills, with the ability to develop and implement effective lesson plans
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with students, faculty, and staff from diverse backgrounds
