Medical Examiner

We are seeking a skilled Medical Examiner to join our team at MRG Exams. As a Medical Examiner, you will be responsible for performing medical assessments on United States Veterans as part of the VA's disability benefits process.

This is an in-person position that requires reviewing medical records electronically and conducting focused physical exams on each Veteran. You will then document exam findings using the web portal provided by the VA.

The successful candidate will have strong analytical skills, able to analyze data from medical records and exam findings to complete questionnaires and form medical opinions. Time management skills are also essential, as you will need to stay on task and meet requirements.

• A current and unrestricted Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant license.
• Proficient use of a computer.

Salary Range: $60,000 - $80,000 per year, depending on experience.

This role performs Disability Assessments on 3-5 Veterans per day. The schedule is two days a week, Tuesdays and Wednesdays, from 8am to 4pm.

All work is performed in a clinical setting. If you are interested in serving the veteran community and working in a set schedule during normal business hours without being on call, this may be the ideal opportunity for you.

Total Estimated Salary Per Year: $72,000, based on a salary range of $60,000 to $80,000 and assuming a 40-hour workweek with 2 days off per week.
