Job Summary: We are seeking a Support Counselor for Residential Settings to provide direct support to individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities in a small group residential setting or an individual living arrangement.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide direct support to individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities in a residential setting.
- Assist with daily living tasks, such as personal care and household chores.
- Develop and implement individualized support plans to promote independence and self-advocacy.
- Collaborate with the treatment team to ensure comprehensive care and support.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Experience working with individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities preferred.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
