Job Summary:

Penske Logistics is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Logistics Associate - Supply Chain Specialist to join our team. In this role, you will play a critical part in ensuring the timely delivery of materials and products to customer locations.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Enter and process customer orders using TMS systems
  • Work closely with common carriers to ensure on-time deliveries by checking shipment status daily and maintaining transportation relationships
  • Communicate effectively with associates from other shifts
  • Complete daily logs and checklists
  • Resolve any transportation issues with customers
  • Identify cost savings opportunities for customers
Requirements:
  • At least 1 year of customer service experience required
  • Bachelor's Degree or some college preferred / High school diploma or equivalent necessary
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize time-sensitive situations in a fast-paced environment
  • Advanced computer skills including Excel and Outlook required
  • Must be able to learn and regularly operate multiple company and customer-owned transportation systems & applications
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
  • Ability to adapt in a dynamic environment
  • Flexibility with scheduling required
  • Regular, predictable, full attendance is an essential function of the job

Estimated Salary:

$45,000 - $60,000 per year, depending on location and experience.
