Excise Tax and Renewable Energy Credits Specialist

As a member of our CIM group, specifically the excise tax and renewable energy credits team, you will be responsible for providing technical expertise and delivering excellent client service. Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Assisting with tax planning and research related to excise tax and renewable energy credits, focusing on various areas such as federal excise tax, investment tax credit, production tax credit, carbon capture and sequestration credit, electric vehicles and refueling property credits, and renewable fuel credits.
  • Implementing multiple projects simultaneously, which will involve client interviews, computations, analysis, data gathering, and coordination of resources.
  • Drafting opinion letters and writing technical memoranda.
  • Developing a deep understanding of clients' businesses.
  • Driving the success of multiple R&D and federal credits engagements.
  • Maintaining technical competency through continuing education and obtaining additional professional certifications.

Starting salary: $64,000.00.
