Cardiology Specialty Nurse Position

We are seeking a highly skilled Registered Nurse to join our Cardiology team at Grand Itasca Clinic and Hospital. The ideal candidate will possess excellent clinical skills, strong communication abilities, and a passion for providing high-quality patient care.
This role offers the opportunity to work in a dynamic and supportive environment, utilizing the nursing process to support patients with various cardiology-related needs. You will be responsible for managing patient referrals, conducting assessments, developing care plans, and collaborating with healthcare providers to ensure comprehensive patient care.
About the Role- Provide direct patient care, including assessing patients' needs, developing and implementing individualized care plans, and evaluating patient outcomes.
- Work closely with cardiologists and other healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care and provide education on heart health and disease management.
- Manage patient referrals, ensuring timely and efficient processing of requests for cardiology services.
- Develop and maintain accurate and up-to-date records of patient interactions, treatment plans, and outcomes.
- Current RN licensure in the State of Minnesota required.
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing degree or higher preferred.
- Proven experience in cardiac nursing, preferably in an outpatient setting.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple responsibilities.
