We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated PACU Nurse to join our surgical team at Surgery Partners. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional patient care in a fast-paced environment.
Job SummaryThe successful candidate will be responsible for directing and/or providing professional perianesthesia nursing care for an assigned group of patients across the age continuum. This will involve utilizing the nursing process of assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation to direct or provide nursing care in the Pre-Post operative setting.
Responsibilities- Directs and/or provides professional perianesthesia nursing care for an assigned group of patients
- Utilizes the nursing process to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care
- May serve as Charge nurse by providing supervision and guidance to other members of the PACU or pre-operative staff
- Demonstrates abilities and willingness to float to other patient care areas as needed
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A current RN licensure in the State of Texas
- BLS certification with renewal every 2 years prior to expiration
- ACLS and PALS certification required within 6 months of employment or sooner if covering call or conscious sedation
- Ability to relate and work effectively with others
- Excellent verbal and written English communication skills
We offer a competitive salary range of $80,000-$110,000 per year, depending on experience. We also provide a comprehensive benefits package, including medical, dental, and vision insurance, retirement savings, and paid time off.
