About the Role:

Gastro Health is seeking a skilled Fibro-scan Technician to join our team. As a key member of our gastroenterology team, you will be responsible for positioning patients for Fibro Scan using patient positioning methods and protective equipment as necessary.

Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with Imaging Coordinators to ensure all pertinent information is well documented and accounted for.
  • Follows quality assurance guidelines and maintain patient confidentiality.
  • Maintains technical competency through continued education and participation in company-sponsored training programs.
  • Cooperates with facility healthcare personnel and complies with facility policies and procedures.
  • Performs equipment quality checks and troubleshoots problems.

Requirements:

  • High School graduate or equivalent.
  • Medical Assistant experience required.
  • GI experience desired.
